Pune- Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd., has launched the AMG G63 Collector’s Edition in India, a highly exclusive version of its legendary G-Wagon. Limited to just 30 units, this is the first time the German automaker has created a special edition G63 exclusively for Indian customers. Bookings for the SUV are now open, with deliveries slated to begin in the last quarter of 2025.

Designed in India by teams at Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, the Collector’s Edition draws its inspiration from the Indian monsoon. The SUV comes in two exclusive, India-specific paint finishes: Mid Green Magno, symbolizing the country’s lush greenery during monsoons, and Red Magno, inspired by India’s rich, iron-laden soil. These bespoke exterior colors set the Collector’s Edition apart from any previous AMG G63 models sold globally.

Exterior updates further elevate the SUV’s exclusivity. It features a unique ‘One of Thirty’ plaque mounted on the rear spare wheel cover, and a distinct side protection strip running along the length of the vehicle. Enhancing its bold and imposing stance are massive 22-inch AMG alloy wheels, finished in a striking shade of gold.

Inside the cabin, the AMG G63 Collector’s Edition offers a luxurious and personalized experience. The dual-tone interior is upholstered in Manufaktur Catalana Beige and Black Nappa leather, paired with open-pore natural walnut wood trim on the dashboard. A truly unique touch is the personalized grab handle on the dashboard, which is engraved with the owner’s name—making each unit as individual as its buyer.

Under the hood, the SUV retains the same high-performance 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, now complemented by 48V mild-hybrid technology. The powertrain delivers 585 hp (430 kW) and 850 Nm of torque, with an additional 22 hp from the electric motor. Power is sent to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4MATIC system and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Despite its size, the SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds—testament to its AMG engineering.

With the AMG G63 Collector’s Edition, Mercedes-Benz has combined performance, luxury, and local inspiration into a hyper-exclusive package for Indian customers. This limited-run SUV not only celebrates the legacy of the G-Wagon but also offers a new level of personalization, craftsmanship, and cultural connection.
