Germany- Mercedes-Benz Group AG, the luxury vehicle manufacture has launched the Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, a high-end version of the SL Roadster. This new model is the sportiest Maybach ever and features elegant upgrades that make it more luxurious than the standard SL Roadster.
Maybach SL 680 Features:
The SL 680 features a Maybach grille with slender vertical slats, which are illuminated for added elegance. The front bumper has been redesigned, now adorned with extensive chrome detailing compared to the SL Roadster. At launch, it is offered in Garnet Red Metallic and Opalite White Magno, each with a contrasting Obsidian Black hood. Additional color options are available to suit customer preferences.
The car features a unique pattern of Maybach logos on both the hood and the soft roof, with Mercedes noting that the hood logos are partially hand-crafted. The bonnet is distinguished by an upright Mercedes star and a chrome fin running from front to rear along its center. Inside, the cabin is outfitted with tanned crystal white nappa leather and gleaming silver chrome trim. The seats are designed with aerodynamic ‘scoops’ that reveal the Maybach emblem when the top is down.
The Maybach SL 680 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 585 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, without any hybrid support. This powerhouse is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission with all four wheels drive 4Matic. The SL 680 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
