Mulgrave, Australia- Nissan Motor Co. (Australia) Pty. Ltd., a local sales subsidiary of Nissan Motor Corporation., unveiled the all-new Navara. The model will go on sale in Australia and New Zealand at the end of the first quarter of 2026. Since its debut in 1986, the Navara has earned a strong reputation as a dependable partner for both work and adventure, with total cumulative sales nearing 500,000 units. The latest generation builds on that legacy with a heritage-inspired design, a new 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine, advanced driver-assistance features, and a suspension system tailored to the driving conditions of Oceania.
The new Navara’s exterior reflects Nissan’s longstanding pickup DNA. A bold V-motion grille anchors the front, while orange-accented three-part intake openings pay tribute to the first-generation model. C-shaped headlamps integrate seamlessly with the grille to create a tough yet modern and sophisticated look.
Inside, the cabin prioritizes comfort and usability, featuring a spacious layout, a 7-inch color TFT instrument display, and a high-function 9-inch infotainment screen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine delivers 150 kW (204 PS) and 470 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The new Navara balances heavy-duty capability with strong fuel efficiency, achieving 7.7 L/100 km (WLTC). A newly adopted electric power steering system enhances maneuverability and handling across a wide range of driving environments—from city roads to rugged off-road terrain.
The Navara’s intelligent four-wheel-drive system automatically adjusts between two-wheel and four-wheel drive depending on conditions. It switches to 2WD for efficient highway cruising and engages 4WD when towing or tackling demanding tasks. An electronically controlled differential lock, standard across all variants, and a suspension tuned for Oceania’s unique road conditions ensure stable and confident performance on any surface.
The model is equipped with an extensive suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, an emergency lane-keeping system, and an Intelligent Speed Limiter that detects road signs and alerts the driver.
