Beijing, China- Dongfeng Nissan., today unveiled the exterior design and key specifications of the N6, its first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sedan, alongside the debut of the new Nissan Teana. Both models were introduced at an event celebrating Nissan’s operations in China and are scheduled to go on sale nationwide by the end of the year.

The N6 marks a major milestone as Dongfeng Nissan’s first plug-in hybrid sedan, built on its next-generation new energy vehicle architecture. It shares its technology base with the fully electric N7 sedan. The PHEV system combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a 21.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering efficient and flexible performance.
Measuring 4,831 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,491 mm in height, with a 2,815 mm wheelbase, the N6 combines an elegant, aerodynamic silhouette with a spacious interior. Its design features Nissan’s V-Motion grille, expressive LED lighting, and sleek, organic lines that convey confidence and refinement. Despite its sporty exterior, the cabin provides outstanding comfort and practicality, designed to meet the expectations of Chinese families seeking reliability, intelligence, and space. The new Nissan Teana continues the nameplate’s legacy of premium comfort and sophistication, now featuring a sharper, more elegant exterior and advanced intelligent technology. Notably, it will be the first internal combustion engine vehicle in China to feature Huawei’s HarmonySpace 5.0 smart cockpit, creating a highly connected and intuitive driving experience. Inside, the Teana also introduces the Huawei SOUND audio system, enhancing cabin acoustics and entertainment for an elevated sense of luxury.
These updates mark a new chapter for the Teana, blending traditional refinement with modern intelligence.
