Porsche launches the all-electric Macan GTS: up to 420 kW (0–100 km/h 3.8s), 586 km WLTP from a 100 kWh pack (10–80% ~21 min at 270 kW), with sport-tuned chassis and signature GTS styling.

Stuttgart, Germany- Porsche AG., an automobile manufacturer, is expanding its all-electric SUV line-up with the Macan GTS, a particularly sporty, driver-focused variant that brings the GTS ethos to the Macan Electric family for the first time.
With up to 420 kW (571 PS) of overboost power, an electronically controlled rear differential lock, and sports air suspension with a 10 mm lower ride height, the Macan GTS sets new benchmarks for agility and driving dynamics. True to GTS tradition, it also stands out with distinctive styling and numerous dark-coloured accents inside and out.
GTS three letters with a special place in Porsche history since the 904 Carrera GTS of 1963 now grace an all-electric Macan. The new variant delivers outstanding performance: 0–100 km/h in 3.8 s, 0–200 km/h in 13.3 s, and a top speed of 250 km/h (limited). Like the Macan Turbo, it uses the most powerful rear-axle electric motor in the series: 230 mm diameter, 210 mm active length, paired with a 900-amp silicon-carbide pulse inverter. In combination with the front-axle motor, the system produces 380 kW (516 PS) in standard form and 420 kW (571 PS) with Launch Control, alongside 955 Nm of maximum torque. A 9.0:1 transmission ratio is engineered to handle the immense torque. The 100 kWh high-voltage battery enables a WLTP range of up to 586 km and supports 10–80% fast charging in around 21 minutes at up to 270 kW, when using a suitable DC station.
The Sport Chrono Package is standard and now includes the track mode known from the Taycan. By enhancing battery cooling to minimise heat-related derating, it sustains high performance during extended, demanding driving.
The Macan GTS channels its power with a rear-biased 48:52 weight distribution, a low centre of gravity, and intelligent power management. Standard all-wheel drive with ePTM (electronic Porsche Traction Management) works with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and the electronically controlled rear differential lock mounted directly behind the rear motor. Model-specific tuning for PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) dampers and anti-roll bars sharpens responses further, while rear-axle steering is available as an option. The GTS also introduces two exclusive Porsche Electric Sport Sound (PESS) profiles, each with a distinct acoustic character in Sport and Sport Plus modes.
The Macan GTS features signature GTS cues with black-painted details across the front, sides, and rear. Tinted Matrix LED headlights, sculpted outer edges above the airblades, and a pronounced rear diffuser reinforce its purposeful stance. From early 2026, Porsche will offer a new Sport Design Package for all Macan models; the GTS receives it first and as standard, with GTS-specific touches. Contrast elements including inserts, side blades, wheel-arch trims, and the adaptive rear spoiler lip are finished in black. 21-inch Macan Design wheels in Anthracite Grey are standard, with 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels optional. Tinted taillights complete the look.
Three colours debut with the GTS: the returning Crayon, GTS-typical Carmine Red, and new to Macan Lugano Blue. Beyond the 15 Configurator colours, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers nearly 60 Paint to Sample shades.
Inside, the Macan GTS pairs extended Race-Tex with black smooth leather. Race-Tex appears on the heated multifunction GT Sports steering wheel, centre-console and door armrests, dashboard, and the centre panels of the adaptive 18-way Sports Seats; bolsters and headrests are in smooth leather.
An optional GTS Interior Package coordinates exterior and interior in Carmine Red, Slate Grey Neo, or Lugano Blue. It adds colour-matched contrast stitching across seats, steering wheel, doors, and upper dashboard; coloured seat belts and ‘GTS’ lettering; a steering-wheel badge with matching ‘GTS’ script; and the Carbon Interior Package with carbon-fibre trim on the wheel, dashboard, and door panels.
In the digital cockpit, a 3D vehicle visualisation mirrors the car’s actual exterior colour, and the instrument cluster features GTS branding. Functions from the standard Sport Chrono Package including lap timing, telemetry recording, and sector analysis are accessible via the central display app.
The GTS benefits from the latest Macan-range updates: Porsche Digital Key (alongside the physical key), new parking assistance features, AI-supported Voice Pilot, an expanded in-car gaming offering, and an increased towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg
