Pennsylvania, US - Reading Truck., a truck body equipment manufacturer, has announced the expansion of its crane body lineup with the introduction of two new models: the RM-25 Crane Body and the RM-35 Crane Body. These additions to the RM Series product line offer customers a full range of lifting capabilities, from mid-weight to heavy-duty solutions, and complete the portfolio for Class 4 and 5 truck chassis.

Mr. Nate Goodnow, President and COO of Reading Truck Body Manufacturing, said, “We aim to offer our customers a design that’s best in class, delivering superior lifting performance, safety, and durability. These crane bodies are a great choice for customers looking for a versatile, high-performance solution that can be upfitted to fit their specific needs.”

With decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise, Reading Truck has crafted the RM-25 and RM-35 crane bodies to meet the diverse needs of a wide range of customers, including owner-operators and fleet management companies. The new models are designed to provide both strength and flexibility, whether for lighter or more demanding lifting tasks.

The RM-25 is available in a 9-foot length and is designed for mid-weight lifting applications, supporting cranes up to 5,000 pounds. It features a 6-inch heavy-duty steel understructure for added strength and stability. The RM-35, available in 9-foot or 11-foot lengths, is built to accommodate electric cranes up to 6,000 pounds, one of the highest capacities for electric cranes. The RM-35 is constructed with a heavy-duty torsion box understructure to ensure reliable performance in the most demanding conditions.

Both crane bodies are designed for easy upfitting with most leading crane models. The RM-25 comes with manual outriggers, while the RM-35 is equipped with electric outriggers, offering enhanced control and flexibility. Additional features on both models include a work-bench bumper, spray-lined bed, and an integrated headache rack, all of which contribute to improved safety and functionality for operators.

The RM-25 and RM-35 crane bodies are ideal for a wide variety of applications and are available for order now, providing a high-performance and durable solution for professionals in need of robust crane body options.
