India- Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd., a Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer, has introduced its all-new SUPER truck series in India, targeting the mining, construction, and long-haul transport sectors with promises of improved fuel efficiency, uptime, and operational cost savings.
The SUPER series is powered by a 13-liter advanced powertrain, delivering torque ranging from 2,800 Nm to 3,800 Nm. Scania claims it offers over 10% fuel savings compared to previous generations, reduces emissions, and extends component lifespan. The state-of-the-art gearbox ensures smoother gear transitions, while the revolutionary fuel optimization system increases usable fuel tank capacity to 97%, enabling longer driving range and faster fleet turnaround.
