      Tata Motors Launches Intra V40 Bi-Fuel Pickup

      Tata Motors has launched the all-new Intra V40 with CNG + petrol bi-fuel technology, 1,525 kg payload capacity and a 2,960 mm load body. The new pickup strengthens Tata Motors’ alternate fuel portfolio for last-mile cargo operations.

      Mumbai, India- Tata Motors Limited., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its alternate fuel vehicle portfolio with the launch of the all-new Intra V40. The new small commercial vehicle is designed to support high-load and fuel-efficient last-mile cargo operations.

      The Intra V40 is equipped with CNG + petrol bi-fuel technology and offers a payload capacity of 1,525 kg. It also features a 2,960 mm long load body, enabling operators to carry higher loads and improve earning potential across urban and regional transport routes.

      The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that delivers 58 bhp and 106 Nm of torque. Its 110-litre CNG tank supports longer operating range, while the bi-fuel system provides flexibility between CNG and petrol for uninterrupted operations.

      Built on Tata Motors’ proven platform, the Intra V40 comes with a walk-through cabin, car-like driving comfort, front disc brakes and a hydroformed chassis for improved strength, stability and durability.

With the all-new Intra V40, we further strengthen our bi-fuel range and consolidate our leadership in alternate fuel mobility, while our expanding electric portfolio supports a calibrated transition towards greener last-mile transportation.”

      With the launch of the Intra V40, Tata Motors now offers a broad bi-fuel portfolio that includes the Ace Pro Bi-fuel, Ace CNG 2.0, Intra V20 Gold and Intra V40. The company also continues to expand its electric commercial vehicle range with products such as the Ace Pro EV, Ace EV 1000 and Intra EV Pickup.

      The Intra V40 is supported by Tata Motors’ ownership ecosystem, including Sampoorna Seva 2.0 for lifecycle service support and Fleet Edge telematics for real-time vehicle insights, predictive maintenance and uptime optimisation.
