Chennai- Visteon Electronics India Private Limited., a provider of automotive cockpit electronics and connected car solutions, has commenced in-house manufacturing of its next-generation high-resolution Analog and Digital Camera Systems and Display Backlight Units (BLUs) at its Chennai facility.
This strategic move enhances Visteon’s commitment to advancing vehicle safety and driving technology. The newly launched production lines are set to manufacture analog and digital cameras ranging from 1.3 MP to 8 MP HD resolution, delivering sharper, high-definition visuals compared to conventional automotive cameras.
Engineered to complement today’s high-definition in-car displays, these camera systems are seamlessly compatible with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)—enabling safer and more accurate parking, manoeuvring, and navigation for modern drivers.
