Volkswagen India Introduces the All-new Tiguan R-line

Mumbai- Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited., has introduced the all-new Tiguan R-Line, the brand’s flagship SUV for the Indian market. A global best-seller from Volkswagen, the launch of the highly anticipated third-generation Tiguan R-Line highlights the company’s dedication to its Indian customers. Built on the MQB EVO platform, the new Tiguan R-Line features a cutting-edge chassis that offers unmatched driving dynamics and ride comfort.

The all-new Tiguan R-Line combines bold design with advanced features, including LED Plus headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and ambient lighting. Inside, it offers "R" inserts, ergo active seats with massage, 3-zone air conditioning, and Inductive Charging for two smartphones. The SUV delivers a luxurious driving experience with personalized comfort and convenience.

Equipped with 2.0-litre TSI EVO engine, the Tiguan R-Line offers 204 PS of peak power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine has been mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission with 4Motion all-wheel drive capability. The Tiguan R-Line comes with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) Pro, and a Vehicle Dynamics Manager (XDS). The Vehicle Dynamics manager implements wheel-specific braking interventions and wheel-selective adjustments of the shock absorber damping, in-turn, offering a more neutral, stable, agile and precise cabin comfort. 

The all-new Tiguan R-Line offers advanced safety with 21 Level 2 ADAS features, 9 airbags, Hill Start Assist, and a 5-Star EURO NCAP rating. Inside, it features a 26.04 cm customizable digital cockpit, a 38.1 cm infotainment system, and an immersive 8-speaker sound system, enhancing both convenience and the driving experience.

The Tiguan R-Line enhances convenience with Wireless App-Connect for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with wireless charging. Navigation data seamlessly integrates into the digital cockpit for a distraction-free drive. Powered by the IDA voice assistant, it allows natural language control over infotainment functions.

The Tiguan R-Line also comes with the 4EVER Care program, offering a four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance, and three free services for a hassle-free ownership experience.

It will be available in six exclusive colors: Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Pearl, and Oyster Silver Metallic.
