Japan – Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., has launched a limited-edition version of its Cygnus X 125cc scooter in Japan. Inspired by the Yamaha R1M, the special edition is limited to just 800 units and features exclusive styling elements.

The limited-edition Cygnus X gets a matte titanium finish, carbon-fibre-inspired accents, exclusive graphics and badges, and a suede-like seat. It also features golden brake calipers and a bright yellow rear shock absorber, giving the scooter a distinctive sportbike-inspired appearance.

The mechanical specifications remain unchanged. The scooter is powered by a 124cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine producing around 12 bhp. It comes equipped with an LCD instrument cluster, USB charging port, telescopic front forks, twin rear springs, and disc brakes on both wheels.

The special edition is designed to appeal to Yamaha enthusiasts looking for a premium and exclusive scooter with styling inspired by the brand's flagship R1M sportbike.
