Yokohama, Japan- ZF Friedrichshafen AG., announced that Mr. Doru Tașcă has been appointed President of ZF Japan Co., Ltd., effective August 1. In addition to this new role, he will continue his responsibilities as Global Key Account Executive for JOEMs. Since joining ZF in September 2020 as Key Account Executive for Toyota, Doru has steadily expanded his role to include responsibility for all Japanese-based OEM accounts. He has been instrumental in strengthening customer relationships and driving high-impact projects across the region.
With more than 20 years of experience in Japan’s automotive industry and over five years at ZF, Doru brings deep expertise in customer engagement and program execution especially within intercultural business environments.
In his expanded role, Doru will lead the commercial strategy and provide strategic oversight across ZF Japan. His dual responsibilities are designed to ensure strong alignment between global customers and regional operations.
