Friedrichshafen, Germany- ZF's Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) division has secured a multi-year agreement to supply several thousand units of its AxTrax 2 electric axle to a leading Indian manufacturer. These advanced e-axles will power a new fleet of zero-emission intercity buses, marking a significant step forward in India's commercial vehicle electrification journey and further strengthening ZF’s presence in the region.

Leveraging ZF’s expertise in powertrain, e-mobility, and commercial vehicle technologies, the AxTrax 2 electric axle is engineered to replace the traditional engine, transmission, and axle—offering a fully integrated electrification solution for commercial vehicles. Delivering 210 kW of continuous power, the AxTrax 2 is part of ZF’s modular e-mobility toolkit and features in-house developed components in a compact, lightweight, and highly efficient axle-based design.
