Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany - Daimler Truck AG., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, Rizon Truck brand is launching Battery-electric Class 4-5 trucks at Truck World in Toronto, Canada, event from April 18th to 20th. And preorders for Canadian customers start in June 2024.

The Canadian government aims for net-zero emissions by 2050 and offers incentives to promote electrification, including the iMHZEV program for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles. Rizon trucks qualify for this program, encouraging companies and municipalities to explore sustainable fleet options for environmental and operational benefits.Top of Form

RIZON will offer four model variants for Canadian customers, the e16L, e16M, e18L, and the e18M, with a versatile mix of configurations and options suitable for each customer’s unique requirements, ranging from 7,25 to 8,55 tons in gross vehicle weight (GVW).
