Crewe, United Kingdom- Bentley Motors Limited., a British designer, manufacturer, and marketer of luxury cars and SUVs’s, this replacing its W12 engine with a high-performance V8 hybrid, promising the highest power output ever, along with improved dynamics, responsiveness, and efficiency, heralding a new era for Bentley's supercars.

Bentley introduces the Ultra Performance Hybrid, continuing its tradition of enhancing combustion engines with technology. This new powertrain utilizes electro charging for increased performance, marking Bentley's most advanced system yet. With over 750 PS and a 50-mile electric range, it surpasses the W12 engine in power and efficiency.

Bentley's renowned 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine will retire this summer after 105,000 engines built over two decades. The new Ultra Performance Hybrid takes its place, becoming Bentley's flagship powertrain. It promises more power and torque than the W12, while also achieving an impressive WLTP CO2 emissions figure of under 50 g/km.

It unveils a preview of the new engine's character through an audio clip, combination of cross-plane bass and free-revving growl. This engine will offer both powerful sound and absolute silence in electric mode. More details on Bentley's electrified powertrain, driving its Beyond 100 journey, will be released soon, ensuring every car in the range is available as a hybrid. Meanwhile, customers can still purchase the final W12 and non-hybrid V8 engines from Bentley's global retailer network.
