Scania appoints a new EVP & CTO
The Newly appointed EVP and CTO. Ms. Sara got an experienced in vehicle development, leads BID, shaping product roadmaps and sustainability within TRATON Group's R&D.
Södertälje, Sweden- Scania AB., has been appointed Ms. Sara Forsberg as Executive Vice President, Chief Technical Officer, and Head of Brand Identity Development, as of 1 May 2024. She joined Scania in 2001, held several R&D positions, including Head of Truck Chassis Development. Currently acting manager for Vehicle Development in Södertälje since 2023.
Mr. Niklas Klingenberg, Head of Group R&D, TRATON Group, said, “As we continue to establish a strong TRATON Group R&D that will deliver more customer value worldwide, Sara will play an essential role in driving the brand identity development and the future success of Scania.”
