Hiab Expands Aftermarket Offerings with Red and Exchange Parts

Hudiksvall, Sweden- Hydrauliska Industri AB (Hiab)., a manufacturer of loader cranes, demountable container handlers, forestry cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and tail lifts, is a part of Cargotec Corporation, expands its spare parts offering tailored to their needs, with the introduction of Red Parts and Exchange Parts to complement Original Parts. 

Red Parts performance quality and safety while providing performance comparable to Original Parts, potentially shorter lifespan. Designed with older equipment in mind, they offer affordable maintenance and repair options that make it possible for older Hiab equipment to operate safely and effectively at lower prices. Truck mounted forklift engine components will be the primary focus at first, but the portfolio will grow to include other equipment manufacturers and component types throughout.

Exchange Parts program to enhance circularity and reduce costs, addressing safety and quality concerns associated with repairing items like large cylinders. Customers returning used parts receive compatible exchange components at a lower cost than Original Parts. These components match Original Parts in specifications, ensuring no compromise on quality or safety. Returned parts undergo recycling, remanufacturing, or proper disposal by Hiab.

Original Parts remain the tier spare parts offering from Hiab, ideal for maximizing performance and longevity. They are essential for equipment under warranty and assets in daily operation.
