National- ŠKODA Auto India., has launched the new ŠKODA Kodiaq, featuring a refreshed design, enhanced driving dynamics, a reimagined interior, and a host of new features focused on luxury, safety, and sustainability.
The new Kodiaq follows ŠKODA’s updated design language and comes with enhanced dimensions. It has grown by 61 mm, now measuring 4.75 metres in length, while the wheelbase (2.71 metres) and width (1.8 metres) remain unchanged. The SUV’s design highlights include a sculpted bonnet, a bold new hexagonal grille finished in matte dark chrome, and sleek split Matrix LED headlights connected by an LED strip. The redesigned bumper features wide air intakes and a skid plate. ŠKODA has also improved aerodynamics, achieving a drag coefficient of cd = 0.282 for better efficiency.
The rear of the new Kodiaq gets a redesigned tailgate, an extended roof spoiler, and a revamped bumper with an integrated diffuser. The D-pillar is finished in dark chrome, adding a premium touch. Both available variants Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement) will ride on newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels, giving the SUV a strong and confident stance.
Inside, the Kodiaq’s cabin has been completely redesigned to offer a more premium and sustainable experience. The dashboard features a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by small rotary dials with embedded screens. Vertically stacked air vents and the generous use of leatherette upholstery made from 100% recycled polyester highlight ŠKODA’s commitment to sustainability. Premium touches like Cognac leather interiors and front ergo seats with massage function promise maximum comfort.
Under the hood, the next-generation Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0 TSI petrol engine that delivers 150 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and comes with 4x4 drive capabilities, offering a blend of smooth highway cruising and off-road performance.
Safety remains a top priority for ŠKODA. The new Kodiaq is equipped with 9 airbags and a host of driving stability systems. Additional features include matte dark chrome exterior styling, a horizontal light strip across the front grille, and R18 Mazeno alloy wheels with aero trims. With these upgrades, ŠKODA ensures a safer and more stylish drive.
Buyers can choose from six striking colours: Bronx Gold, Magic Black, Graphite Gray, Velvet Red, Race Blue, and Moon White. Each colour has been carefully selected to enhance the SUV’s bold and elegant design.
