Chennai –Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles has launched its 4-axle 8x2 DTLA Truck (14-wheeler) AVTR 41201 offers an additional 5-tonne payload compared to standard 8x2 trucks.

This offers the customers flexibility to operate in a large band with best in class Total Cost of Operation (TCO) benefits.

Now, with this we will give the flexibility to customers. In many applications the load availability is dynamic due to various factors like type of material, onward/return load, seasonality, customer order quantity."

1AVTR 4120 of 40.5t GVW is powered with engine of H series CRS iGen-6 technology with two option develops an output of 200 HP/250 HP and Torque 700 Nm/900Nm which is matched with 6 speed gear box(ZF 6S 850). The Chasis of different length and load body 9710 mm (24 ft body)/ 10360 mm (26 ft) / 10960 mm (28 ft) / 11560 mm (30 ft) / 11960 mm (32 ft) is fitted with Semi elliptical leaf springs at front and Semi elliptical leaf springs/ Parabolic helper spring at rear.
