CEVA Logistics deploys Electric Vehicles in Chinese cities

Shanghai, China- CEVA Logistics Ltd., has deployed five Sinotruk HOWO electric vehicles in Suzhou, Wuxi, Zhengzhou, and Chengdu, to help with local pickup and delivery services in China. The estimated monthly mileage of the electric trucks is over 25,000 kilometers, which translates into a yearly decrease in carbon emissions of 75 tons (tank to wheel).

The use of electric trucks in China helps CEVA fulfill its promise to achieve net zero by the year 2050. By the end of 2025, CEVA intends to have 1,450 electric vehicles operating on its global fleet, cutting annual carbon emissions by 67,000 tons of CO2. The local pickup and delivery requirements of a variety of consumers, including those in the industries of luxury and high-end food products, are satisfied by the electric vehicles. In addition to pushing the sector to take greater initiative when it comes to sustainable logistics, CEVA aims to provide consumers cutting-edge supply chain services.
