Eaton names Mobility Group for its Vehicle and E-Mobility businesses

Southfield, United States- Eaton Corp plc., a designer, manufacturer and supplier of  drivetrain, powertrain systems and critical components has revealed a new name for its eMobility and Vehicle Group divisions. The company's focus on offering solutions across the propulsion spectrum and fulfilling the shifting needs of its clients, regardless of whether it be internal combustion, electrified, or a combination of the two, is reflected in Eaton's Mobility Group.

Pete Denk, President of Eaton’s Mobility Group said that the new name- Mobility Group, would serve the name as it leverages its 100-plus years of diverse experience in the vehicle space and Eaton’s extensive electrical background at a time where the industry is would become a mixed market of internal combustion and electrified vehicles.”

The Mobility Group provides a range of technologies to enable rising levels of electrification, such as power electronics, transmissions, and power distribution solutions that enhance performance, safety, and efficiency. Following the 2022 acquisition of Royal Power Solutions, a world leader in the research and manufacture of vital high-precision power- and signal-distribution components, power connection solutions were made available. The Mobility Group's main markets are aftermarket clients and original equipment producers of on- and off-highway vehicles.
