Eicher Trucks to supply 350 HD trucks to Bangladesh

Pithampur / Bangladesh - Eicher Trucks and Buses of Pithampur, part of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd, announced that it has won an order for 350 Eicher 20.161 heavy duty trucks from Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC). The delivery of the order is expected to take place and start during the next financial year (ie April 2018 to March 2019).

1Eicher 20.16 (16t gvcw) is powered using an in-line 6-cylinder, water-cooled, turbo-charged 7.7-litre diesel engine compliant to BS III  6-cylinder engine offering a maximum output of 108kW @ 3200 rev/min (147hp) and maximum torque of 471Nm @ 1440 rev/min. It is matched with a 5+1 speed synchromesh manual gearbox
