NITI Aayog plans 135 charging stations in Delhi-NCR
NITI Aayog has engaged the services of AC2SG software Oy of Finland to design pilot charging infrastructure for 46 DC quick charging stations and 89 slow AC charging stations across 55 locations in the Delhi NCR Regions.
New Delhi - The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) is proposing to arrange for installation of 135 electric vehicle charging stations in New Delhi by June 2018 in order to accelerate the uptake of electric vehicles in the country.
NITI Aayog has engaged the services of AC2SG software Oy2 of Finland to design pilot charging infrastructure for 46 DC quick charging stations and 89 slow AC charging stations across 55 locations in the Delhi NCR Regions.

National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) was formed following a resolution of the Union Cabinet on January 1, 2015. NITI is the replacement of the 65-year-old National Planning Commission and was set up by the newly formed NDA government under Narendra Modi.
