EKA Mobility has partnered with IKEA India to supply electric vans for last-mile delivery, aiming to reduce IKEA's carbon footprint and enhance sustainable logistics.
Date: August 28, 2024Delhi- EKA Mobility is a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries Limited., has formed a strategic partnership with IKEA to supply electric delivery vans, supporting IKEA's initiative to electrify its last-mile delivery fleet in India. Backed by Mitsui & Co. and VDL Groep, EKA Mobility has already delivered 10 electric vans to IKEA, with plans to expand the fleet across various regions in India.
The switch to electric delivery vans is set to greatly reduce IKEA’s carbon footprint, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly logistics operation. EKA's electric vans, featuring advanced battery technology, ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective service in urban areas.
