Nanterre, France- Forvia SE., an automotive technology supplier formed by Faurecia and HELLA, will showcase its latest sustainable solutions for commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2024. Join us from September 17-22 in Hannover, Germany, at Hall 12, Booth A30.

Mr. Patrick Koller, CEO of FORVIA, said, "As we navigate through the profound transformation towards zero-emission mobility, FORVIA continues to be a key partner for OEMs, offering cutting-edge solutions that prioritize both sustainability and the well-being of individuals. With transportation accounting for 15% of global greenhouse gas emissions, we are proud to lead the movement in reducing this impact. One in three trucks and buses in Europe are already equipped with our products. At IAA Transportation 2024, our innovative technologies, including advanced seating, lighting and electronics solutions, as well as hydrogen storage systems, highlight our commitment to a cleaner and more efficient future for the mobility sector."

FORVIA introduces its first-ever eco-friendly truck seat range at IAA Transportation, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 40%. These lightweight seats feature an in-built seatbelt, advanced suspension, and innovative materials like NAFILean Vision and Ecorium for enhanced comfort and durability. Modular designs extend their lifespan and support future upgrades.

FORVIA also presents versatile hydrogen storage systems for light to heavy-duty vehicles, supporting both hydrogen internal combustion engines and fuel-cell electric vehicles. With facilities worldwide, including a new one in North America, FORVIA delivered 11,000 tanks in 2023 to major clients like HKMC and Stellantis.

Mr. Stefan van Dalen, Managing Director Lifecycle Solutions at FORVIA HELLA, said, as a company of the FORVIA Group, FORVIA HELLA stands out for its innovations in lighting and electronics technology for commercial vehicles. “Our aim is to further strengthen the commercial vehicle business and to specifically address this strategically important target group even more consistently moving forward. We will therefore be presenting our expertise at the leading industry trade fair and look forward to offering our customers modular solutions that make the future of commercial vehicles safer and more sustainable.”

At IAA Transportation, FORVIA HELLA will unveil sustainable lighting innovations for commercial vehicles, including an aerodynamic headlamp and a roof marker concept that enhance fuel efficiency and vehicle design. They will also introduce the Future Trailer Lighting System, which reduces cabling, weight, and CO2 emissions, while offering advanced digital functions like automated lighting. In addition to lighting, FORVIA HELLA will present electronic systems focused on smart energy management. Committed to achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2045, FORVIA has already accelerated its progress, aiming for carbon neutrality on scopes 1 & 2 by 2025 and cutting scope 3 emissions by 45% by 2030.
