Chennai- TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited., an Indian supply chain solutions provider secures a contract from VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) to manage in-plant warehousing and logistics at their Eicher bus factory in Baggad, Madhya Pradesh.
TVS SCS, a partner of VECV since 2006 for in-plant logistics at their Truck plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, has secured a new three-year contract for VECV's bus plant in Baggad. This partnership has contributed to over 1200 job opportunities in Madhya Pradesh over two decades.
In-plant logistics for the Baggad bus plant involves timely receipt of parts, efficient storage and picking based on Production Planning Control (PPC), and delivering parts to assembly lines as per the Bill of Material (BOM) to ensure smooth production flow.
