Tamilnadu transport upgrade 100 refurbished buses to enhance intercity connectivity

Chennai- Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K.Stalin flagged off 100 refurbished buses for public use at a cost of 14.90 Lakhs rupees on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporations (TNSTC) on 11.8.2023 at Chennai.

The government is providing transport services to the poor and middle class people in Tamil Nadu through the TNSTC at low rates and endless transport services across the state by bus travel facility to all rural areas. In its first phase, 16 buses for Villupuram Government Transport Corporation, 15 buses for Salem Government Transport Corporation, 37 buses for Kumbakonam Government Transport Corporation and 32 buses for Tirunelveli Government Transport Corporation, a total of 100 buses
