Ashok Leyland expands AVTR range with 250hp tippers
Ashok Leyland claims that the powerful H6 4V engine along with heavy duty drivelines deliver best-in-class performance with optimum gradeability suitable for all construction and mining related surface transportation.
Chennai – Truck builder, Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, has introduced its AVTR 48251 tipper powered by its 250hp H-series 4V 6-cylinder engine.

1AVTR 4825 tippers offers a gross vehicle weight of 48t. It is powered by the 250hp H-series 4V 6-cylinder engine, matched with a 9 speed synchromesh – CGR – 12.73:1. The chassis is fitted with Front – Semi-elliptic multi leaf, Optional –Parabolic, with Shock absorber and ARB / Rear – Improved non-reactive suspension (NRS) Semi-elliptic. The AVTR 4825 H6 4V tippers are factory fitted with the 29 cu. m. box body, while 18 cu. m and 23 cu. m variants are also available along with an option of U-shaped body. It is suitable for surface transportation of coal, as well as for infrastructure and road construction projects.
