Brasília, Brazil- Pollo Viagens e Transportes., a major transport operator has purchased 22 IVECO’s 10-190 model. A benchmark in high capacity, performance, and economy, IVECO BUS's micro-bus line is ideal for transporting 16 to 44 passengers and offers a variety of solutions that fit to customer needs. Pollo Viagens e Transportes from Brasilia chose the 10-190 chassis to update its fleet while keeping these and other characteristics in mind. 22 of the units were purchased by the corporation and will be used for school transportation in the Federal District. Max Caminhes, an IVECO dealer in the area, completed the transaction.

The 10-190 is already well-known in the market and is secure, cozy, and quick, ideal for a range of operations. The most powerful engine in its class, the 4.5-liter FPT engine produces 190 horsepower and has a larger range of maximum torque. It has the smoothest driving and requires fewer gear changes than other vehicles in its class, which also leads to the lowest fuel usage.

The new micro-buses are the company's first fleet additions from IVECO BUS, forging a potential alliance. Pollo Viagens e Transportes, a company founded in 1998, also works in the rental and tourism industries in addition to providing transportation for schools. According to Eduardo Campello, manager of Max Caminhes, "the company is one of the major school operators in the Federal District basin, where there are currently more than 1,000 buses in operation."

José Charles da Silva, Owner of Pollo Viagens e Transportes, says that he already had good references about the brand and the 10-190 chassis met expectations. "Fleet renewal is very important to us, offering quality transportation to students in the public school system of the Federal District. The chassis's availability for immediate delivery made a difference in choosing IVECO BUS," points out Silva.
