JBM unveil electric buses at Bus World 2023

Gurgaon- JBM Electric Vehicles Private Limited., an Indian electric bus manufacturer has showcased its all-electric city bus Ecolife and luxury coach Galaxy, at Bus World 2023 in Brussels. This also marks JBM Electric Vehicles’ first step into the European Union region, with a suite of products and solutions aimed primarily at offering end-to-end e-mobility ecosystem solutions.

JBM Electric Vehicles of the Indian-origin US$ 2.6 billion JBM Group, and the buses were revealed by JBM Group Chairman SK Arya and Vice Chairman Nishant Arya. The company claims to have an order book of 5,000 electric buses that are now deployed and being executed in various geographies throughout the world across multiple applications. JBM Electric Vehicles says it has set up one of the largest dedicated integrated electric bus manufacturing facilities in Haryana, India, with an annual manufacturing capacity of over 20,000 buses, and is confident of meeting the growing demand.

Over the last five years, the company has logged over 100 million e-kms and served over 1 billion passengers. In the next three to four years, the company plans to travel more than one billion e-kilometers and serve more than ten billion people. JBM electric buses have been created with the fundamental product ethos of Safety, Performance, and Passenger Comfort in mind.

Other safety features include an Advance Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Forward vehicle collision warning systems (FVCWS), Lane Departure Warning System, Pedestrian and cyclist collision warning (MOIS), Blind spot detection, vehicle cyber-attack protection, Intelligent Speed assistance, alcohol interlock installation facilitation, driver drowsiness, attention warning, and advance driver distraction warning, and fire detection and suppression sytems.
