Tata Motors launches its first CNG-powered M&HCVs

Mumbai- Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, has introduced new models including 19T and 28T GVW CNG trucks, the Light and intermediate commercial vehicles are LPK 6101, LPT 709g XD2, SK 710 tipper3, Ultra T.12g4, Ultra K.145, LPT 1512g6 and Ultra T.16 Cx7; Medium and Heavy commercial vehicles are Tata-Signa-1918(CNG)8, Tata-Signa-2818(CNG)9, Tata-Prima-3530.K10, Tata-Prima-5530.S11 and Tata-Signa-5530S12.

1LPK 610 tipper of 6.25t gvw is powered with 4SPCR BS6 develops power of 100 kW @2800 r/min and Maximum Torque 300 Nm @ 1200 -2200 r/min which is coupled with G550, 5 Speed, Manual Synchromesh Gearbox (5F, 1R). The chassis of 3.2m length is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at rear. Also comes with with high ground clearance of greater than 200mm and brakes are vacuum assisted- H2LS(Hydraulic Twin Leading Shoe) ; Auto Slack Adjuster.

2LPT 709g XD (CNG) of 7.5t gvw is powered with 3.8 SGI BS6 develops power of 85PS @ 2500 r/m and Maximum Torque is 285 Nm @ 1200-1600 r/m which is coupled with GBS27 5 Speed Manual Synchromesh Gearbox (5F, 1R). The chassis of 6m length is fitted with Semi elliptical leaf spring and 2 no Hydraulic double acting telescopic type Shock Absorber at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring at rear. It comes with 5 sq.ft. added deck area with improved efficiency.

3710 SFC tipper 4 m³ body of 7.5t gvw is powered with 4SPCR BS6 develops power of 100 kW @2800 r/min and Maximum Torque (in Nm) 300 Nm @ 1200 -2200 r/min which is matched with G550, 5 Speed, Manual Synchromesh Gearbox. The chassis of 6m length is suspended with Semi elliptical leaf springs, 2 no Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring at rear.

4Ultra T.12g of 12t Gvw is powered with 3.8L SGI TC Engine having max power at 125 HP@2250 rpm and Torque 420 Nm@1400-1600 rpm which is matched with G550, Manual Synchromesh Gearbox (6F, 1R). The chassis of 6m is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at rear.

5Ultra T.14 tipper of 14t Gvw is powered with 3.3L NG Engine having max power at 125 HP@2250 rpm and Torque 420 Nm@1400-1600 rpm which is matched with G550, Manual Synchromesh Gearbox (6F, 1R). The chassis of 9m is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at rear.

6LPT 1512g of 16t Gvw is powered with 3.8 SGI TC BS6 Engine having max power at 125 HP@2250 rpm and Torque 420 Nm@1400-1600 rpm which is matched with GB 40 Gear Box (5F, 1R). The chassi is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi-Elliptical Leaf Spring at rear.

7Ultra T.16 Cx of 16t Gvw is powered with 3.3 litre new generation diesel engine with 155 HP Power and 450 Nm Torque. which is matched with G550, Manual Synchromesh Gearbox (6F, 1R). The chassis of 9m is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring, Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at front and Semi elliptical leaf spring with auxiliary helper spring at rear.

8 Tata-Signa-1918(CNG) of 18.5t Gvw is powered with 5.7L SGI CNG BS6, develops power of 180 HP and 650 Nm at 1300-1600rpm of maximum torque which  is matched with G750 6 speed (6F+1R) gearbox. The chassis is fitted with AXLE TYPE: 7T Reverse Elliot Front Axle | 11.5T Banjo Type Single Reduction Rear Axle.

9 Tata-Signa-2818(CNG) of 28t Gvw is powered with 5.7L SGI CNG BS6, develops power of 180 HP and 650 Nm at 1300-1600rpm of maximum torque which  is matched with G750 6 speed (6F+1R) gearbox. The chassis is fitted with Front      4-leaf Parabolic Springs at Front with Anti-roll Bar Assy and Rear:         Semi-elliptical Multi-leaf Spring at Rear.

10Tata-Prima-3530.K of 35t Gvw is powered with CUMMINS ISBe 6.7 l BS6 generates max power : 225 kW @ 2 300 r/min and Max Torque : 1100 Nm @ 1 100 - 1 700 r/min which is matched with ZF 1115TD 9 speed Gearbox with crawler & one reverse. The chassis is suspended with Front : Parabolic leaf spring, Rear : 37T and 48T BOGIE suspension in 23 m3 box and 19 m3 scoop variants respectively.

11Tata-Prima-5530.S of 55T gvw is powered with Cummins ISBe 6.7L BS6 Max Power : 224 Kw @ 2300 r/min and Max Torque : 1100 Nm @ 1100 - 1700 r/min  which is matched with TATA G1150 8F +1C + 1R Manual Synchromesh. The chassis is fitted with Front Axle : Front Straight Axle for 19 m3 Scoop (drop down Axle in 23 m3 Box) and Rear Axle : Planetary Hub reduction Axle with Differential Lock, suspended with Parabolic leaf at front Bogie suspension | Bell Crank Suspension at Rear.

12Tata-Signa-5530S. of 55T gvw is powered with Cummins ISBe 6.7L BS6 Max Power : 224 Kw @ 2300 r/min and Max Torque : 1100 Nm @ 1100 - 1700 r/min  which is matched with TATA G1150 8F +1C + 1R Manual Synchromesh. The chassis is fitted with Front Axle : TATA Heavy Duty 7T Reverse Elliot Type and Rear Axle : TATA Single Reduction 21T RA109 SRT Tandem Axle which is suspended with Parabolic leaf at front Bogie suspension | Bell Crank Suspension at Rear.
