Tata Motors launches three new commercial vehicles in Malaysia

Mumbai/Malaysia- Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, along with its authorized distributor DRB-HICOM Commercial Vehicles Sdn. Bhd.1 (DHCV), launched Tata Super Ace2, Tata Ultra 8143 and Tata ULTRA 10144 in Malaysia in the month of April 2018.

1DRB-HICOM Commercial Vehicles (DHCV), A wholly owned subsidiary of DRB-HICOM BHD, was established in 1979 for the purpose of importing, assembling and distributing passengers and commercial vehicle segment. Upon signing of the Importation, Distribution and Technology License Agreements with Tata Motors Limited, India in September 2013, DHCV was appointed as the exclusive distributor of Tata Motors commercial vehicles as well as expand its vehicle assembly business and distribution network in Malaysia.

2Tata Super Ace of 1t gvw is powered with 1.4 Litre DiCOR (common rail) BS4 develops Power 70 hp, Torque 135 Nm is matched with 5speed gear box. The Chassis of 4m length, wheelbase 2380mm is fitted with Double wishbone type with torsion bar Front Axle and rear rigid axle and it suspended with Independent, strut type at front & Semi-elliptic leaf spring at rear.

3Ultra 814 of 8t gvw is powered with New Gen 3 litre CRDI engine develops power of 100kw @2500, torque of 390Nm @ 1500rev/min and it is matched with six speed Tata G550 Synchromesh Manual Gearbox.

4Ultra 1014 of 10t gvw is powered with G 3L BSIV, 4 Cylinder In-line Water Cooled Direct, Injection Diesel with Intercooler develops power of Power of 103 kW (140 PS) @ 3000 rpm, Torque 360 Nm @ 1400-2000 rpm and it is matched with Tata GB 550(6F + 1R). The chassis with a wheelbase of 4530mm is fitted with 104 T Front "R" assy with Drum Air Brake at front and RA- 1068, 34/7, W/S Camm BRKS & non ABS and suspended by Parabolic leaf springs at front and Semi-elliptical at Rear with Semi-elliptical Aux Springs at rear.
