VECV delivers 50 CNG buses to Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal

Pithampur – Commercial vehicle manufacturer, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV) of Pithampur - the CV manufacturing joint venture subsidiary of Sweden’s Volvo AB and Eicher Motors Ltd of Gurugram (New Delhi), India – as delivered 50 units of its 24-seater Eicher CNG AC1 buses to Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal (PMPML).

1Eicher CNG (2070E) AC BS VI-compliant bus of 7.6t gvw are powered by E483 CNG engines that develop 115hp at 2600 rpm and peak torque of 360 Nm at 1600-2000 rpm which is coupled with ET35S5 (Synchromesh 5 Speed + 1 rev) gearbox. The Ladder - Joggle type Chassis of 6.7m length is fitted with Semi elliptic leafspring at front and rear. All buses are equipped with the Eicher Live telematics solution connected in real-time with the Eicher Uptime Centre which provides remote bus monitoring and predictive diagnosis to reduce abrupt breakdowns.
