C4V MoU with Hindalco
The partnership intends to address the soaring demand for EV battery materials in the Indian market by facilitating the development and supply of essential Li-ion cell components.
New York- United state- Charge CCCV LLC.,(C4V), a US-based Li-Ion battery technology company, has signed an MOU with Hindalco Industries Ltd., for the creation and distribution of Li-ion cell structural components, coated foils, and battery-grade aluminum foils in order to meet the rapidly expanding demand for EV battery materials.
The partnership intends to address the soaring demand for EV battery materials in the Indian market by facilitating the development and supply of essential Li-ion cell components.
A thorough framework for cooperation between C4V and Hindalco is outlined in the MOU, which includes Hindalco providing C4V with up to 2,000 tons of battery foil over a five-year period.
In addition to the supply agreement, the collaboration creates a strategy plan with an emphasis on cooperative material and technology development projects. The goal of this strategic alignment is to satisfy the changing needs of the Indian EV market by highlighting the significance of regional production and knowledge.
In a recent statement, Hindalco revealed plans for a sizable 25,000 tonne battery foil production plant in Odisha. This action demonstrates the company's dedication to meeting the escalating needs of the electric vehicle market in India.
Through mutual benefit and skill-sharing, the alliance hopes to significantly contribute to satisfying the growing need for locally produced, high-quality EV battery materials.
