Iveco Bus and Via Sign MoUs for On-Demand Transport

Turin, Italy- Iveco S.p.A., an Italian transport vehicle manufacturing and Via Transportation Inc., a the TransitTech category by using new technologies to develop public mobility systems, announce the signature of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU). Agreement with Politecnico di Milano and Humanitas for pilot project, flexible transport solutions for private firms

IVECO BUS and Via have signed two Memorandums of Understanding to explore on-demand transport solutions. The first MoU is with Politecnico di Milano to implement an on-demand transport system for students and faculty. The second MoU is with Humanitas to improve mobility for hospital employees and students. Both projects will utilize IVECO BUS vehicles, including minibuses powered by alternative energies, combined with Via's software and operational expertise.

The objective is to offer innovative and flexible mobility solutions through easy-to-deploy, customizable options. These projects, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and Humanitas, were identified with the Circular Economy Lab, a partnership between Cariplo Factory and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center.
