BMW R20 Concept Motorcycle Unveiled

BMW Motorrad has revealed the R20 Concept motorcycle, set to make its debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, featuring a larger 2000 cc air-oil-cooled Boxer engine—an upgrade from the R18's 1800 cc engine.

Munich,Germany-BMW Motorrad has unveiled R20 concept bike, it showcases a unique blend of modern technical elements and classic roadster design. The highlight of the R20 concepts is air-cooled 2000cc Boxer engine.

The BMW R20 concept stands out its unique design features. Sporting a fresh look, the aluminium tank boasts a revamped design and is coated in colour “hotter than pink." The BMW R20 concept is colour-coordinated with the cylinder head covers, belt cover and air intake funnels made of polished and anodized aluminium, as well as the Paralever strut, footrest system and the ISR brake calipers in gunmetal.

The taillight seamlessly integrated into the single seat, upholstered with quilted black Alcantara and fine-grain leather. This design highlights the dynamic roadster aesthetic, enhancing the compact rear of the motorcycle.

The modern LED headlight is presented as a 3D-printed aluminum ring with an integrated daytime running light. Within this ring, the main headlight appears the optical illusion of floating in the canter, creating a visually striking effect.

The R20 concept bike chassis has been completely redeveloped and, with a black double-loop main frame made of chrome-molybdenum steel tubes, forms the backbone. With the black disc wheel at 17x6.25 inches at the rear, on which a tire of the dimension 200/55 is mounted, and a 17" spoke wheel with black spokes and the tire dimension 120/70 at the front the BMW R20 concept combines tradition and modernity.
