Chennai – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG., has announced its plan of action to step up the capability and competence of its technical personnel across its BharatBenz sales and service network.

Together with its dealer partners Dhingra Trucking and Autobahn Trucking, DICV has added two new BharatBenz Regional Training Centers (RTCs) to its existing two locations in Chennai and Odisha. The new RTCs are located in Dharuhera (Haryana) and Pune (Maharashtra). The purpose of BharatBenz Regional Training Centers is to annually retrain and upskill more than 3500 drivers as well as sales and service staff from around the BharatBenz network. Mr. Sreeram Venkateswaran, President & Chief Business Officer, Domestic Sales & Customer Service, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, said that, Regional training centres for BharatBenz have been established in locations that are more convenient for our authorized dealerships and service facilities. We have trained about 15,000 BharatBenz mechanics, salespeople, and drivers over the last four years. Since the beginning of the BharatBenz brand, we have believed in and witnessed the ongoing and consistent process that achieving greatness entails. Since BharatBenz continues to set new standards in the upcoming years, we will work to continuously raise this bar of excellence by developing our workforce.
