Eaton expands remanufactured portfolio with Advantage Clutch

Dublin, Ireland- Eaton Corporation., an American-Irish multinational power management company announced today that its Mobility Group has expanded its line of remanufactured products to include the best-selling clutch in North America, the Advantage series clutch. Eaton maximizes material reuse by remanufacturing hundreds of transmissions and clutches every year. This keeps materials out of landfills, saves energy, lowers emissions, and minimizes waste.

Remanufactured Advantage clutches offer clients the latest OE specification at a lower cost, thanks to a special strap drive intermediate plate design that is exclusive to Eaton. The clutches will come in both self-adjust and manual adjust variants, and will be available in seven-part quantities to cover most heavy-duty applications.

Mr. Tim Bauer, vice president, Aftermarket, Eaton’s Mobility Group, said that, We are providing our clients with a more environmentally friendly product by reducing the quantity of material that ends up in landfills by including our well-liked Advantage clutch, which is created in North America, in our lineup of remanufactured components. "We are dedicated to providing our customers with the products they require for every stage of a vehicle's life cycle, and this is just another step in that commitment."

Eaton's remanufacturing division retrieves product cores from clients throughout North America and restores them to optimal functionality. The remanufacturing industry aims to increase component reuse without sacrificing performance. Eaton's remanufactured Advantage clutches meet the requirements of the MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers organization's "Manufactured Again" accreditation procedure, which is characterized as "manufacturing that is sustainable by definition and responsible by design." As a member of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, Eaton will feature the Manufactured Again certification logo on its clutch boxes.

Remanufactured products give customers of Eaton's remanufactured product portfolio a cost-effective solution together with a sustainability benefit, according to Bauer. They also retain the same performance characteristics. Furthermore, when it comes to late-life clutch replacement for aging trucks, remanufactured solutions offer better performance and warranties that are competitive in the market.
