HELLA shows modular concepts lighting solutions for city buses and coaches

Lippstadt Germany- HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co., an automotive supplier which works under the umbrella brand FORVIA, will showcase modular solutions as well as specially created, customer-specific technologies for city buses and coaches at this year's Busworld 2023 in Brussels. They meet important market demands in the transportation industry by offering increased comfort and safety, sustainability, and brand identity.

Sustainable and powerful: headlamps for new Marcopolo G8 series

LED headlamps, which HELLA has begun mass producing for the new G8 coach series of Brazilian bus manufacturer Marcopolo, are one of the highlights of the company's attendance at the trade show. The headlamp has only been displayed so far in South America; as a result, busworld 2023 will mark the first time it is shown to a bigger audience. The headlamp has the biggest single-piece LED reflector made by HELLA. The effectiveness and brilliance are additional special features that are especially apparent when driving at night: The glare for approaching cars is decreased by about 80%, which promotes safety while reducing driver fatigue. Over the course of its service life, it leaves a smaller carbon footprint than the typical halogen version—roughly a third.

Modular, durable, striking: Full LED rear combination lamps

HELLA will also display full-LED rear combo lamps from a German premium bus manufacturer at Busworld 2023. On the one hand, they demonstrate how attractive security may be: The rear combo lighting, which has five light modes and is both large and energy-efficient, is noticeable from a distance and establishes outstanding design elements. The modular and hence cost-effective idea approach is also used by the LED rear combination lamp. The various color schemes of the rear combination lamp and the various printings on the light curtain, in particular, ensure customer- or brand-specific distinctiveness.

SlimLine Bi-LED headlamp: rectangular light module

In addition to being strong and powerful, the SlimLine Bi-LED headlamp also raises the bar in terms of appearance. It follows a highly current design style that is also gaining popularity in the bus industry as the first rectangular light module in the HELLA range. The headlight bezels can be customized in shape, color, and branding in addition to these additional distinctive design options. Low-beam and high-beam headlamps are combined in a single SlimLine module. The light from the module is quite comparable to sunshine thanks to its exceptional performance, which improves safety and driving comfort, especially on lengthy coach trips.
