Tata Motors announces the launch of new gen Prima and Ultra trucks in Kuwait
The launch of the new products in line with the successful delivery of order from Waste Management and Cleaning Companies operating for the Kuwait Municipality.
Kuwait/ Mumbai - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, a commercial vehicle manufacturer launched its new generation range of Prima and Ultra trucks in Kuwait, specially designed to meet the customer needs.
The launch of the new products in line with the successful delivery of order from Waste Management and Cleaning Companies operating for the Kuwait Municipality. Tata Motors bagged the contracts that includes the use of its new generation Prima and Ultra trucks for municipality cleaning projects for the next 5 years.
Products launched are TATA PRIMA 3428.T Rigid Truck1, PRIMA TIPPER 3328.K2, Prima 6038.S3 and Tata ULTRA 8144.

1Tata Prima 3428 T of 34tgvw is powered with CUMMINS ISBe 270 Euro-III develops a power output of 267.53 BHP @ 2500 rpm (+/- 50 rpm) and Max Torque 970 Nm at 1500 rpm (+/- 100 rpm) which is mated with ZF 9S 1110 TO.
2PRIMA TIPPER 3328.K of 33tgvw is powered with Cummins 8.9 litre engine, coupled with Eaton 9-speed Manual[Rk2] gearbox that is perfectly suited for all construction applications, regardless of the terrain. With new-age design, coupled with more utility and optimum performance, Tata Prima enables customers to upgrade to a new world smart truck.
3Prima 6038.S is powered with Cummins ISLe 375 develops an output of 375ps @2100rpm and torque of 1550nm @1200-1400rpm which is mated with EATON FSO 10309. The chassis length of 7m is fitted with Parabolic leaf spring at front and two spring balance beam Bogie with semi elliptical multi spring and rubber mounted torque rods and V rods at rear, hydraulic double acting telescopic type shocks at front only. The Cabin is Air conditioned, with 9-way adjustable seat, arm rest, Tilt able and Telescopic steering system, Music system, with Global Positioning System provision, besides roomie occupant space.
4Tata ULTRA 814 of 8t gvw is powered with TATA NEW GENERATION 3L COMMON RAIL ENGINE Euro 3 develops an output of 140 HP is mated with aluminium casing – the G-550 six-speed gear-box comes with overdrive, cable-shift mechanism and axle technology and reduced weight, offering superior performance and greater fuel efficiency for varied payloads. The straight frame modular chassis available in 3920mm can be customised for multi-purpose loads providing the customer with flexibility for business for multiple applications. It has a factory fitted heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The smartly designed instrument cluster offers features such as fuel economy indicator, ideal gearshift indicator and water in-fuel indicator. The vehicle also offers the provisions for the fitment of various accessories including Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking for tracking the vehicles, etc.
