Vénissieux, France- Iveco Bus., has secured a noteworthy contract in Italy to provide 411 E-WAY devices to ATAC Rome. Rome's public transportation system will have the biggest fleet of IVECO BUS electric buses in operation in the nation with the addition of these E-WAY units. The first 110 e-buses will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024, and the last buses will be delivered by April 2026.

Modern technologies enable our E-WAY buses to deliver a smooth and emission-free ride for both drivers and passengers. This latest achievement in Italy demonstrates how well our E-WAY technology satisfies the decarbonization requirements of Italian public transportation.

Vehicles measuring 12 and 18 meters will be outfitted with the newest NMC battery technology, which has a 69.3 kWh single unit capacity. The FPT Industrial battery plant (e-plant) in Turin is the location where this special energy storage solution is put together. The vehicles will adhere to the General Safety Regulation (GSR) and are equipped with the most recent ADAS devices from the manufacturer.
