Case IH Debuts Next-Gen AF Series Combines at EIMA with Larger Capacity, Bigger Feederhouse, and Powerful Engines for Enhanced Performance.
Date: November 20, 2024St. Valentin, Austria - CNH Industrial America LLC., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, debuts the AF9 and AF10 combines at EIMA, expanding the Axial-Flow range for 2024. These models feature a redesigned system for increased capacity while maintaining the proven single-rotor threshing principles. The launch completes the "Year of the Combine" following the Axial-Flow 160 and 260 series release, solidifying Case IH's leadership with the largest line of single-rotor combines, a system it pioneered in 1977.
The new Case IH AF9 and AF10 combines are built for large-scale operations, featuring a 775hp FPT Cursor 16 engine in the AF10 and a 635hp FPT Cursor 13 in the AF9. Both offer efficient fuel consumption, extended 750-hour service intervals, and industry-leading grain tank capacities 20,000 litres for the AF10 and 16,000 litres for the AF9, with fast unloading rates. They support wide header compatibility and feature a 6,800kg lift-capacity feeder house for improved crop intake.
The new 762mm AFXL rotor, the longest in the industry at 3.67m, enhances crop flow, fuel efficiency, and straw quality while reducing grain damage. With up to 5.1m² of threshing and separation area, it features six modules, including HX raspbars for improved crop flow. The rotor is powered by PowerPlus CVT and can be reversed from the cab in case of a blockage.
The new Cross-Flow Cleaning Plus system features the largest cleaning area in the industry at 8.76m², supported by a larger fan and automatic cross-distribution control for even cleaning. The MagnaCut chopper is ideal for corn, beans, and dry wheat, with spreading up to 13.5m, while the MagnaChop option handles higher straw volumes, spreading up to 18m, with remote controls for speed, chop/drop, and counterknives.
