      Cologne, Germany- Deutz AG., will open its Technikum to engine and technology event for the ninth edition of "Nacht der Technik." Participants from the metal and electrical industries, small and medium-sized enterprises, research, trade, and education sectors will provide insights into their companies.

      Its showcase over 160 years of engine history in its 600-sqm museum, featuring original gas-powered engines from 1867 and 1878 by founders Mr. Nikolaus August Otto and Mr. Eugen Langen, both still operational. Guided tours will learn interesting facts, and entertaining anecdotes of the company's history and engine development, along with a future innovation like Deutz low-emission hydrogen engine.

      The "Nacht der Technik" event, themed "To see, to understand and to experience technology," will feature one-hour guided tours of DEUTZ’s Technikum on June 21 from 6 p.m. Reservations are required. For tickets and more information, visit www.nacht-der-technik.de/koeln/. Launched in 2009 by the VDI and VDE, this event allows visitors to explore various companies and institutions with a shuttle bus connecting all venues.
