Hindustan Zinc & GreenLine Collaborate on LNG-Powered Logistics

Udaipur- GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd.,  an LNG-powered heavy trucking logistics company, they officially deployed its LNG-powered trucks at Hindustan Zinc Limited., a Vedanta Group company in Zinc, Lead & Silver business. In its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, Hindustan Zinc has chosen Essar’s green mobility solutions company, GreenLine, as its sustainable logistics partner, ushering in a new era of green logistics in the metals and mining sector.

In an effort to lead the way in environmentally friendly freight transportation, GreenLine is investing INR 200 Cr to equip Hindustan Zinc's road logistics operations with LNG-powered vehicles. These heavy-duty LNG (liquefied natural gas) trucks, produced by Blue Energy Motors, show remarkable reductions in harmful emissions when compared to diesel, with reductions of up to 30% in CO2, up to 100% in SOx, up to 59% in NOx, up to 91% in particulate matter, and up to 70% in CO.

LNG transportation is now a reality in India because to GreenLine's collaboration with numerous organizations to develop a green logistics ecosystem. The sustainability objectives of both organizations are perfectly aligned with LNG-powered vehicles, which are recognized for their much lower emissions when compared to diesel. By highlighting the enormous benefits of LNG-fueled long-haul trucks for corporations and reaffirming the commitment to a sustainable, environmentally sensitive future, this cooperation clears the path for their broad adoption.
