Kubota is set to expand the EK1-261 series by launching a new hydrostatic version, building on the mechanical model's success across Europe.
Date: November 5, 2024London, UK - Kubota Corporation., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, expanding its popular EK1-261 series with the launch of a new hydrostatic version. Building on the success of the mechanical model across Europe, the company is meeting rising demand for budget-friendly compact tractors, further strengthening its foothold in the European market.
The new EK1-261 HST (hydrostatic) model is powered by a 24hp diesel engine and offers an easy driving experience with forward and reverse pedals, removing the need for a clutch. It includes an independent PTO, allowing separate control of the tractor’s driving speed and PTO RPM-ideal for tasks like flail mowing, as the rotor keeps running even when the tractor slows or stops for precise maneuvering. Retaining many features of the original EK1-261 mechanical model, it also offers a variety of tire options.
The high-capacity hydraulic system on the EK1-261 HST provides an 800kg rear lifting capacity and a flow rate of 19L/min for auxiliary valves, delivering outstanding responsiveness for front loader tasks. This hydrostatic model also includes both a double-acting and single-acting valve, enhancing its versatility for use with various implements like tipping trailers.
Along with its affordable price, the EK1-261 HST is backed by an extended 5-year warranty, making it an attractive, cost-effective choice. These versatile tractors combine performance with user-friendly features, making them ideal for large property owners and municipalities with limited budgets. Kubota also offers a dedicated range of implements for the EK1-261, providing a complete solution for a variety of grounds maintenance tasks.
