      Mahindra reports its August sales

      Mumbai- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.)., an Indian Automotive company announced that its overall auto sales for the month of August 2023 stood at 70,350 vehicles, a growth of 19%, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 23,613 units.

      LCV < 2T sales for August 2023 stood at 3896 corresponding to the same  number during the last fiscal year with null changes in Yoy comparison.

      With respect to LCV 2 T – 3.5 T, the numbers stood at 18768 units, compared to the 16940 units sold last year, with an YoY of 11%.

      The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV segment recorder a 47% increase in the YoY sales with 949 units when compared to the 646 units from the previous year.

      The numbers of 3 Wheelers (including electric 3Ws) stood at 7044 units which is also a 47% in the YoY sales compared to the 4793 units sold in the previous fiscal year.

      Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd said, “We are excited to witness another record month, as we clocked our highest-ever SUV domestic sales of 37,270 in a month with a growth of 26%. We also registered an overall growth of 19% for the month of August. While demand for our key SUV brands continue to be strong, we are keeping a close watch on the availability of semi-conductors and select parts, for sustained and smooth scaleup.”
