Oxa partnerhip with eVersum

Oxfordshire, United Kingdom- Oxa Systems Limited., the autonomous vehicle software developer, and eVersum technologies d.o.o., provider of electric commercial vehicles and passenger transport solutions, announced a partnership to design, develop and produce shared autonomous passenger vehicles. These vehicles will be offered to public transport operators in Europe and the US, to revolutionise the transportation sector, with the first being autonomous city ‘eShuttles’.

At Busworld 2023 Europe, eVersum and Oxa announced a partnership to develop autonomous-ready electric base vehicles. eVersum's eShuttle can carry up to 50 passengers and offers comfort features. This collaboration aims to create a turnkey autonomous shuttle solution for cost-effective, safe, and efficient shared transportation, expanding service options for transit operators.

The partnership tackles the need for eco-friendly public transport in growing urban areas. It helps address driver shortages and high costs of maintaining multiple routes, preventing service cuts that affect vulnerable groups. Autonomous eShuttles aid in sustaining routes and reducing congestion while meeting emission reduction goals.

Oxa and eVersum are working towards an initial deployment of the eShuttles featuring Oxa Driver software in the UK, set to be announced later this year and marking a milestone achievement for the country’s automotive economy.
