Austria, Europe - POTTINGER Landtechnik GmbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, launches SERVO 4000 with On-Land Ploughing Option for Enhanced Soil Conservation and User-Friendliness. The new on-land beam link enables travel over both ploughed and unploughed land, increasing operational versatility.
The SERVO 4000 with on-land equipment allows for quick switching between in-furrow and on-land ploughing. The frame adjusts to the on-land position using the leading cylinder, suitable for tractors up to 3 m wide. The turning radius is reduced, and the pulling point remains preset for both in-furrow and on-land use, with intuitive setup through the SERVOMATIC control center.
The new on-land equipment option allows tractors with wide tyres or crawler tracks to drive on untilled soil, reducing soil compaction and preventing wheel slip. This promotes better root growth, soil health, and access to water and nutrients, ensuring a healthier crop and better harvest.
Working on land keeps the tractor parallel to the ground, providing a more comfortable sitting position and reducing tilt. This offers relief to drivers, especially during long days, while ensuring precise results.
The SERVO 4000, designed for tractors up to 360 hp, offers maximum output and durability. The on-land ploughing option provides greater flexibility for optimal, soil-conserving ploughing.
