Date: September 19, 2023Augsburg, Germany- Quantron AG., a German auto manufacturer has received an order for 38 battery-powered heavy commercial vehicles worth a total of 16 million euros was placed by HAMA Trucks in Augsburg. At year's end, the first delivery is anticipated.
These are QUANTRON QHM BEVs, which have 450 kWh batteries and a 300 km range. Both rigid and tractor versions of these will be offered, both of which support swap-bodies. To obtain an even longer range, each vehicle has an aerodynamics package that was created especially by QUANTRON.
The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVD) provided funding for all 38 vehicles. The customer directly benefits from the BMDV's 80% subsidy and simultaneously receives financing with a maintenance contract incorporated over the specified duration in a creative service/lease arrangement.
