California ,USA-Suzuki Motor Corporation has invested in Glydways Inc, California-based startup specializing in on-demand personal rapid transit of compact electric vehicles that are autonomous, battery-operated, and resemble mini vehicles. These vehicles travel on dedicated lanes, offering efficient and convenient transportation options.
Glydways is dedicated to revolutionizing urban mobility with its innovative traffic system offering enhanced efficiency and convenience at lower infrastructure and operational costs. Suzuki and Glydways are currently in discussions regarding potential collaborations in vehicle development and manufacturing, following Suzuki's recent investment in the company.
Glydcar is Operating autonomously within designated lanes, efficiently transport up to four passengers directly to their destinations without any interruptions. Glydcars are designed to accommodate passengers' needs, providing ample space for belongings such as bikes and luggage. Additionally, Glydcars adhere to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards, ensuring comfortable accommodation for wheelchair users.
